"Former star football player-turned cryptozoologist, Demitrius Johnson, is stranded in another dimension, where he spends his days advising the messianic Bastion on how to best rebuild a world he destroyed. With the help of a grotesquely bioengineered upper class, they foil an assassination attempt, then travel across the length and breadth of a continent to root out its source. During this journey Demitrius discovers different species, abnormal evolution, philosophical conundrums and the very heart of the world's strangely reminiscent culture. Meanwhile in our own backyard, ex-Special Forces inter-dimensional bounty hunter Kimo Kapanui tracks sign of otherworldly travel by investigating Weekly World News sightings from around the globe. Lemmanuel Kraus, former heroin-addict, U.S. Marine Hero and evisceration test-dummy for Bastion's mother, gathers around him a flock of followers and bears witness to all that he's seen and heard. Kimo wants to help Demitrius come home. Lem wants to once again meet his messiah. Together, they seek to find a way back. All comes together in a shocking conclusion that involves chupacabra, bigfoots, saber-toothed tigers, satyrs, radioactive villagers, and a grotesquery of mutated actors, all who gleefully perform across the pages of this stand-alone second novel of the Cycle of the Aegis. Recalled to Life, the first book of the Cycle, began this road trip into a multi-dimensional heart of darkness. The Golden Thread continues this journey, taking all who dare into a cryptozoological wonderland where nothing is ever as it seems, and where a simple mistake can result in a lifetime of pain." | SHIPS AIRMAIL INTERNATIONALLY!
