Synopsis: Signed First Editions Society limited first edition in full leather binding ? signed by Joseph Heller. A desirable collectible for Heller enthusiasts, collectors of signed modern firsts, and admirers of fine press bindings.
Review: God Knows (1984) is Joseph Heller?s audacious retelling of the life of King David - irreverent, funny, and shot through with the same anarchic wit that made Catch-22 a landmark of American literature. Narrated by an aged David looking back on his life with God, Bathsheba, and Absalom, the novel blends biblical epic with contemporary Jewish-American humour. The Signed First Editions Society edition, with Devis Grebu?s illustrations and Heller?s own signature, is the most collectible format of this title.
