1965. First edition. ix, 252pp. The book is bound in the original dark blue boards with gold titling on the spine. The book is in excellent condition and the contents are tight and clean. The author has inscribed and signed the front free endpaper thus: "June 1965. With best wishes J.H. Scott". The unclipped dustwrapper is very good with some shelf wear and light soiling and slight fading to the spine. "That prevailing material, scientific, sophisticated attitudes make it increasingly difficult to believe in supernatural religion is undeniable. In this unusual book there is assembled impressive evidence and reasoning to show that belief in underlying greater reality and in immortality is still justified. The problem of evil is looked at afresh. Also discussed are: life, mind, spirit, inspiration, mysticism, paranormal phenomena and survival aspects.".
