Signed by the author with the inscription 'With Dr Ogilvie's Comps' to the half-title page. Original light purple cloth binding, much worn, with short splits and fraying to the spine and wear to the edges. Binding is firm. Six plates of illustrations. Pages in good condition, with no tears and clean throughout. No previous owner names or other inscriptions or scribbles. Stamp to the front free brown endpaper.
