Card wraps. Creasing and rubbing to spine, light rubbing to rear cover. Signed by the author to half title page and dedicated to Anthony Rumbold. Sir Anthony Rumbold was a British diplomat, serving as Minister in Paris at the time of publication. He was later appointed Ambassador to Thailand and finally Ambassador to Austria. The text has some pencilled notes and margin markings, presumably made by Rumbold. Overall condition is Good Plus. International postage will be less than the stated rate.
