The object you are now holding in your hands is known as a book, and it was in this form that a great deal of the world's information was disseminated right up to the early part of the 21st Century. Set out as a travel brochure this tongue in cheek (obviously!) book has wonderful illustrations by David Hardy, and witty text by Bob Shaw. This is a good copy with its "perfect binding" intact, very minor bumping and it is signed by David Hardy, dated 28 June 1984. Obviously a bit of a rarity now, following the demise of Thomas Cook, it would make a great gift.
