Wollheim on front free endpaper: "With compliments and all good / wishes, to Donald A. Wollheim. / Festus Pragnell / Southampton, 26/3/37." A fantasy set on Kilsona, an inhabited planet of the microcosm. Pragnell's summary of the planet's history is largely based on the writings of H. Geewells, especially his book WAR FROM THE CLOUDS. A very good copy in good four-color pictorial dust jacket with wear along top and bottom edges and some shallow chipping, mainly at upper spine end, and closed tear with associated wrinkles at head of front panel.
