A near fine copy of Creeley's second book; an excellent collection of short stories. Pasted to the front free endpaper is an interesting Creeley one octavo page folded TLS dated: Buffalo - November 17th, 1976 addressed to publishers James Campbell & Zsolt Alepi [Atropos]regarding acceptance of a gig in Montreal, payment of $300 & accommodations for his stay. "Meanwhile, I'll see what I have to submit to your magazine. My recent are PRESENCE with [Marisol] and SELECTED POEMS [Edited by Robert Grenier], Scribners 1976; and AWAY, Black Sparrow Press, 1976. A recent issue of the ANTIGONISH REVIEW has a good interview with me. . . Yours / Robert Creeley" with a holograph postscript: "P.S, If you'd like some informal talking with the students, say, 10-12, (or whatever let's me get to the airport on time) on the morning of the 8th, fair enough".
