Author's signature on a small plain bookplate on half Title. First novel from a writer that exploded onto the best s eller lists. Boards dark navy blue show slight wear. Interior is near fine. DJ is dark blue with white titles and a small illustration of the base of a stone column, with a $ inscribed on the side. Jacket near Fine is NOT price clipped ! but spine bumped which has meant small creases at top and bottom of spine jacket. Front fly-leaf has a barely noticeable crease. Front cover still has original round sales sticker "so good it comes with a money-back guarantee". Seller Inventory # 000857
