A near fine (or better) copy in like D/W with a foxing spot to the edge of the front flap. Inscribed by the Author to the front free end-paper: "Autumn 1976/ John Junor/ Very best wishes/ Dick Francis". John Junor was possibly the best-known Scotsman in England, writing a famous column in the newspaper he edited from 1954 to 1986, the "Beaverbrookian" Sunday Express.
