About this Item

First edition hardcover in mint green textured paper covered boards with dark green cloth covered spine. Author signed on fep "From Dalesman Jan 1948" (not dedicated to anyone in particular). Boards soiled and bumped, hinges fine, foxing on endpapers. 140pp text is tight without tears, writing or dog ears. Does have some occasional finger soil, nothing that obscures the text. Foreword by G. H. S. Dixon, includes several line drawings. Original, un-clipped color illustrated dust jacket has a repair at head of spine, tiny chip and color loss to foot of same and shows light handling soil on white background. Book and wrapper display well in new mylar. These are, for the most part, fictional tales.
