Jacket Condition: Very Good +. 1st Edition. 14 x 22 cm red boards with gilt stamped titles to the spine, [vi]391[1]pp with original unclipped dust jacket priced at 16s net. Signed by the author to the front free endpaper. Clean bright boards with a touch of shelf wear to the bottom edge. Internally, there is a small area of toning on both of the front free endpapers where the dust jacket does not reach. The author's signature on the front free endpaper is dated January 1957. The dust jacket which is now protected in a removable, clear cover (not shown) is lightly toned on the spine and has a touch of rubbing to the spine tips, joints and corners with minimal loss. There is a stamp for - Macmillan's Overseas Library on the back flap which has been crossed out in purple pen. There are no other indications that the book is a library copy. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. All books are placed in a plastic bag, then bubble wrapped and sent out in a new book box (multiple books, folio size and larger may differ). For UK orders, Standard Postage is by Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For mail, which we aim to send out within 2 days. The priority rate is for Royal Mail Special Delivery, which we aim to send out within 1 day. For any specific requirement or deadline please do not hesitate to contact us.
