FUCHS, JOHN. Forty Years After Gurdjieff: A Guide to Practical Work. Denver: Gurdjieff Group of Denver, 1994. Signed and inscribed by the author. First edition. Limited edition. 98 pages. Hardcover in dust jacket. Number 22 of a stated limitation of 50 copies, handwritten on the preliminary blank. Signed and inscribed by the author to "Jerry," thanking him for his support and encouragement in writing the book. Likely presented to physicist Jerome Finkelstein, a scientific collaborator of Basarab Nicolescu. Accompanied by the publisher's original promotional brochure and order form. This book and its dedication serve as direct evidence from a time when world-class physics and esoteric philosophy were actively talking to each other in the American West. Condition: Very Good+ to Near Fine. Light gray cloth boards are exceptionally well preserved, with sharp corners, a firm binding, and only minimal shelf wear. Scattered age-related foxing to the text block edges, most noticeable along the fore edge, but not extending onto the interior pages, which remain clean. Original dust jacket is Very Good+, retaining bright color with minor rubbing, light edge wear, and occasional spotting. Overall, a clean, attractive, and well-preserved copy.…

Store description
In Libris Veritas specializes in vintage, antique, collectible, and obscure non-fiction. While this may be too broad to define as a single category, it allows us to buy, sell, and collect books that interest readers and collectors, and which often end up on our own bookshelves when we forget to sell them. Some of the areas we specialize in are medicine, engineering, technology, psychology, agriculture, the occult, religion, spirituality, and militaria. We are second-generation booksellers. Our family has been in the book trade since 1975, when my mother was an antiquarian book dealer.…
