Pages and edges are clean, with clean unmarked endpapers. Signed "wallace Byron Grange" by author on title page. Illustrated by Olaus J. Murie. Circular previous owner blind-stamped embossment at lower corner of half-title page - no other marks. 314 pages. Clean dust jacket has slight browning to spine and edges, shallow chipping at top spine edge, small v-shaped chip at top front left edge; enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. Written by Wisconsin's first Superintendent of Game and Cooperative Agent for the U.S. Biological Survey.
