First Edition, in the second issue dust jacket, with a $5.00 price on the front flap, and a mention of "Dr. Strangelove," "Candy," and "The Loved One" at the bottom of the front panel. INSCRIBED by the author on the title page: "To Laurie with best wishes / Terry Southern." Very Good in a Very Good plus dust jacket. Book is lightly dampstained along the bottom boards and page edges, with an ink annotation on the front endpaper. Jacket lightly rubbed, with a nick and accompanying wear at the top left corner of the rear panel.
