First Edition (first printing) - this copy warmly inscribed by the author and his wife and dated Christmas 1937. 60pp. Blue cloth lettered in gold at the spine and upper board. Some discolouration to the head of the upper and lower boards, and several small areas of bleed to the endpapers and pastedowns from the publisher's blue top-edge stain. A light scattering of spotting to the fore edge and to several preliminary leaves. Quite a nice crisp copy in non-price-clipped dust wrapper, a little spotted, tanned at spine panel and quite tender at natural folds and with a single small area of loss. Forty-two poems.
