Signed by the author at the half-title. The jacket is lightly rubbed at the folds and has some loss at the head of the spine with no loss of text. Most of his stories take place in the Pacific Islands. He is praised on the rear panel of the jacket by both Arthur Conan Doyle and Jack London. Russell's signature is quite scarce.
