About this Item

Bookplate. Small areas 1/2" deep are very slightly faded because of the chipping of the acetate dust jacket. A few tiny spots on bottom edge of text block (see scan). Otherwise fine. Original unprinted acetate dust jacket has 1/2" chips at top and bottom of spine. Otherwise fine. Tall 8vo. White paper covered boards with title designed by Kerouac in red and purple. Purple cloth spine stamped in silver. Reddish orange endpapers. New Directions blurb laid in #116 of a limited edition of 750 copies signed by Jack Kerouac. Printed date on the signature page is December, 1959.
