Stated First Edition. I've already listed a Signed copy of Will Bryant's first novel 'The Big Lonesome.' Here is a Signed copy of his second novel. Both are inscribed to the same people. This book is signed and inscribed on the half-title page. You can see this in the second photograph. This book is in very nice condition. The covers have very little wear . The silver lettering and design on the spine is still quite bright. The book is very solidly bound. The pages are very clean and bright. Leafing through the book I saw only two light spots and one very light accidental pen jag (on the blank margin). I saw one page with a corner crease. That's it. No one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. There aren't any markings or attachments. The only actual flaw I saw was a straight-line tear of about 1 1/2 inches on the blank front free end paper. The dust jacket is NOT price-clipped. You can see it in the first three photographs. The wear is minimal. The top edge of the spine has a very tiny tear and crease. The top edge of the front flap has a thin crease as well. The dust jacket will be fitted with a protective cover. From the dust jacket flap 'There were seven of them. Wanted for murder in Arizona, hounded across the Mexican border, captured by a renegade band of Pancho Villa's soldiers, their only way to freedom lay across the vast Sierra Madre in an ancient and gloriously derelict automobile'.
