Item description from seller

Small 4to. Pp. xii, 67. Illustrated with color photo reproductions. Stiff laminated paper wraps photo illustrated, French flaps. Half title inscribed in ink by both artists to Seattle arts patron Anne Gould Hauberg thanking her for co-founding the Pilchuck Glass School, dated 1/21/05, with gallery contact info in ball point. First few leaves with damp warpage, first page of the Oldknow essay with Hauberg's ink annotations. From the personal library of Anne Gould Hauberg. She and her husband John Hauberg were the impetus for Seattle's glass-art movement when they financed Dale Chihuly's concept of a summer school glass-blowing program near Stanwood, Washington. The program evolved into the Pilchuck Glass School, now an internationally recognized art-glass studio.
