Burgundy cloth with emblematic gilt to front; gilt type to spine. Brown top stain. Author's presentation copy signed and dated February 23, 1933 to endpaper. Colour Krieghoff painting plate to frontis. Includes 316 illustrations, 16 paintings in colour by Krieghoff, Paul Kane, Heming, Jefferys, Gagnon & others . Text block clean, very mild toning to top edge, plates are sharp. Cloth slightly worn to extremities, some scuffing. Spine sunned. Front hinge and spine loosening. Otherwise a very good copy.
