1st printing (1956). 532pp. Original navy cloth with gilt lettering to spine. SIGNED and inscribed by the author on title page in blue ink. GOOD+ copy, binding square and tight, cloth covers rubbed with some damp staining, gilt bright, internally very good; no dust jacket. Ink stamps on front pastedown of The Phiroz Mehta Trust.
