Originally issued in 1944; additional material was added in 1945, 1957, and 1962. The last six chapters were witten by David O'Neill. A Fine cppy; black cloth binding, with gilt lettering on the spine. Clean text; 412 pages, indexed. This copy has been boldly SIGNED by Eamon De Valera on the second free endpaper. laid-in is a 3"x5" campaign card for "Vote DeValera" that is in Fine condition.The dustwrapper is Near Fine. Small stain and a tiny chip on the spine, else Fine. In an archival plastic protector. Size: 8vo - over 7�" - 9�" tall. First Thus. Hard Cover. Fine/Near Fine.
