James Michie was a poet and translator of Latin poets. He was the director of the Bodley Head publishing company, and a lecturer at London University. The book has a firm binding with no hinge weakness and there is no leaning or rolling to spine.There is a little foxing present to the front and rear endpapers.This copy was acquired from an impressive private collection of Modern First Editions with which very close attention was obviously paid into obtaining books in excellent condition.Lovely copy,8vo 99pp Limited Edition [1927].
