Brown cloth with gilt spine titles; 8vo; 181pp; not illustrated; orange pictorial dust jacket; limited edition numbered (602). The author's 1st book after the pamphlet, "I Want Him" introducing "Dud Dean, Guide, Humorist, and Old Master of Trouting." There is no limitation stated, but Lippincott notes 800 copies were published. Supposedly, all were numbered on the front panel of the dust jacket and some with matching numbers to upper front free endpaper. Some stories appeared previously in "Field & Stream."This copy in VG condition while the uncommon jacket shows evidence of damping, some edge chipping with loss at crown of spine and some cello tape strengthening to internal folds. Numbered and inscribed to Maine notable William Hilton on the front free endsheet. Seller Inventory # 006991
