Item description from seller

ISBN 0959666214. This book had its beginning around 1959 with Kazys's decision to study geology at the University of Sydney and later to study at the Australian National University, Canberra the evolution of 400 million year old fossil shell-fish called brachiopods. After the cessation of formal studies and several years of living it seemed that the more he knew and experienced the more difficult it became to make sense of it all. In 1995 Kazys began to write the thesis which was always meant to be written, one which is presented to you as The Drum Dance of Rarotonga. **The book has shelf rubbing at the extremities.**.
