Add to basketThis is a fine copy (both book and dust jacket) of Margaret Thatcher's brilliant account of her years in power, almost new in appearance and signed by her, in blue ink, direct to the title page. Signs of wear are few and very slight: some barely perceptible marks on the top edge of the text block and a very small area of shelf -wear on the bottom edge. Apart from that there are no faults or blemishes of any kind, neither internally nor externally. Please see five photos of this book and we would be happy to supply more if that would help.

In 1979 Margaret Thatcher became the first woman British Prime Minister. A decade later she became the first premier for 160 years to win three consecutive general elections. In 1990 she resigned her leadership of an increasingly divided and turbulent government. She is the only PM to have given her name to a branch of political philosophy, and arguably the most important figure in postwar British politics.
