Publisher's leather clamshell case lined in cloth. 4to. Artist's name in silver on case cover and with silver closing clasp. Binding is by La Reliure d'Art - Cachan and clasp designed by Simone Rozzi. Copy #9 of 50 copies printed. Case contains 21 full-page original etchings by Jacques Abinun each signed and numbered in pencil by the artist. Each etching has a facing page of text from Dante's "La Divina Commedia" in French, Italian and English and there is also a preface to the work by Leander W. Smith in both French and English on two separate leaves. The plates and text are clean and fine condition with all tissue guards present. The leather case is very good with some rubbing and soiling.
