Intricate gilt decoration to spine. Marbled endpapers. Decorative red staining to all edges. Some foxing to first few and to last few pages. Bottom corner of opening edge of lower board lightly bumped. The binding shows some signs of wear. Top corner of opening edge of page 201 lightly creased. Internally, the book is remarkably well preserved. Overall, the book is in a very good condition. Scarce first edition.
