1st American Edition/5th Printing (October 1971). SIGNED by author on a bookplate on front end page (signature only). DJ rubbed with some edge wear. $7.95 price present on DJ flap; mylar protected. Also inclosed laid-in is a small colour photo card SIGNED and inscribed by SIR DONALD SINDEN (played 'Mallinson' in Fred Zinnemann's film version of novel). Also includes laid-in is a 8"x10" colour photocopy of original movie poster that is personally SIGNED by EDWARD FOX (who played 'The Jackal' in film). Also includes laid-in a small B&W photo SIGNED and inscribed by TONY BRITTON (played Inspector Thomas); and another card SIGNED and inscribed by ALAN BADEL (played The Minister'); and a color phto SIGNED by JEAN SOREL (played 'Bastien-Thiry'). Comes with a VHS tape of Zinnemann film. Author's first novel and Edgar Award winner. (Bonus: Comes with a unsigned 1st Printing hardcover copy of Forsyth's novel "The Afghan").
