A fine, signed leather-bound limited edition of this National Book Award nominated book from this National Book Award winning and Pulitzer Prize nominated author. Signed Limited First Edition, First Printing, as designated by statement of limitation ("This signed limited first edition has been published by special arrangement with Houghton Mifflin Company") on copyright page and "First Edition" printed on full title page. A fine, signed limited leather-bound copy. Cover corners slightly rounded, minor imperfections in gilt along page edges. Front cover flares slightly when book laid on back. Author's signature only on limitations page following the endpapers in blue ink. Included is card with information about book and author as issued by the publisher. Brown leather with gilt decorative ornamentation on spine and front and back covers, spine in fine condition, no scratches or blemishes. Very minor imperfection to one spot of gilt on rear cover. Endpapers depict a map of Jerusalem, silk ribbon page marker. Shipped in well-padded box.
