pp: 361. FIRST EDITION SIGNED BY BOTH AUTHORS. Pictorial dust jacket, red/black cloth covered boards. This copy has been signed and dated on the free endpaper by both authors. Danforth was also involved in the payoff investigation involving Arthur Flegenheimer, better known as Dutch Schultz. And, there was the case of Fritz Kuhn, leader of the American Bund that openly espoused the ideas of Adolf Hitler. Kuhn turned out to be not much more than a racist, a forger and thief, not different than the others in Germany. This is a very good copy in a dust jacket with moderate edge wear, sunning on the spine, and a bit of soiling. The jacket is protected with a Brodart cover.…
