Add to basket112 pages, a good copy of Russell March's excellent and well-known book of cricketers who appeared in Vanity Fair. Tall book, 315mm high. Most of the cartoons depicting the cricketers are attributed to 'Spy' but there are works also by a number of others. Leslie Ward ("Spy" himself) is depicted by 'Pal'. Introduction by John Arlott. The author has written a dozen short but notable chapters on different aspects of the magazine or cricket in general by way of fascinating background. SIGNED by author as part of a dedication, on half-title page, "To G , , , P . . ., with all good wishes, Russell March". A few marks on end papers, with some slight damage around binding at rear end papers; internally else very good; a few spotting marks on top edge of text block. Jacket has some creasing along top and bottom edges, and bumping around spine; and is price-clipped. PLEASE NOTE! This is a heavy book (in excess of 1kg when packed) but postage/shipping within UK is included in the indicated pricing for 3-5 days shipping time option.
