The jacket has a 5 mm split on a top front corner, a 2 cm closed tear to top front edge and a 5 mm one to lower front edge; rubbing at head of spine and tanning to rear (white) panel. Internally inscription to half title runs thus: 'For Lady Milner with devotion and love Edward C. 30 Aug 5s.' Below this is a circular ownership stamp. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
