With photogravure of "Spider Woman," SIGNED and numbered "00" by Man Ray. Small folio. 16 pp, including text and illustrations. Printed on pink and yellow paper, laid in to die-cut stiff yellow and blue printed wrappers (as issued). Laid in is 4-page printed catalog itemizing the art works by Man Ray exhibited at The Copley Galleries on December 14, 1948 and January 9, 1949. This catalog accompanied one of Man Ray's most important exhibitions in the United States. This solo exhibition brought together a wide array of work and featured his newly painted canvases of the Shakespearean Equations series. The Copley Galleries operated in Beverly Hills for only a short time, from c.1948-49. First Edition Limited No. "00" of 125 copies (from a total edition of 275).
