A clean and crisp hardback set of first editions in clean and bright dust jackets. Plus The Companion Volume. The 20-volume sequence comprises: The Silver Pigs; Shadows in Bronze; Venus in Copper; The Iron Hand of Mars; Poiseidon's Gold; Last Act in Palmyra; Time to Depart; A Dying Light in Corduba; Three Hands in the Fountain; Two for the Lions; One Virgin too Many; Ode to a Banker; A Body in the Bath House; The Jupiter Myth; The Accusers; Scandal takes a Holiday; See Delphi and Die; Saturnalia; Alexandria; Nemesis. Three volumes have been inscribed by the author:the first in the series, the tenth and the thirteenth. The Silver Pigs is very lightly marked on its upper cover (the dust jacket is not affected) and has a couple of small, light creases where the lower cover meets the spine (about three inches from the head), and the Official Companion has a tiny puncture mark near the right-hand edge of the front free endpaper (which runs very lightly through the following pages), but overall this is a very fresh and attractive set of first editions. The dust jacket of The Silver Pigs is protected by a non-adhesive transparent sleeve.
