Personally signed by Carl Sagan, one of the twentieth century's most influential scientists and science communicators, this volume explores the history, science, and cultural significance of comets through Sagan's signature blend of rigorous scholarship and accessible storytelling. Co-authored with Ann Druyan, the book examines humanity's fascination with these celestial visitors while explaining the latest astronomical discoveries of the era. Signed books by Carl Sagan remain highly sought after by collectors of science, astronomy, and modern first editions. Fine copies with the original dust jacket are increasingly difficult to locate, making this an especially attractive collectible.
