Includes dedications and similar notes after many of the poems. Beyond her literary pursuits, Magna (1885–1960) was a highly prominent American civic leader, serving as the President General of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) from 1932 to 1935. She was highly instrumental in the fundraising and construction of DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C. This book was privately printed in a limited run for the author by the historic Hampshire Bookshop. Overall condition is Very Good. Binding is secure and square, with mild rubbing and wear to cover boards, the front corner a little exposed. Interior is gently age tone - the endpapers more so; the pages remain bright, clean and unmarked. A nice signed copy of this scarce book! [D2].…
