Item description from seller

Bound in simulated birch bark paper with cover title; 18mo (approx 4"' x 6"'); 57pp; illustrated with 10 actual tipped-in b&w photographs with printed captions below. This is the 8th in a series of 19 books written by Abbott, dealing with hunting, fishing and camping in the Adirondacks. All are uniformly bound and all have tipped-in photos and some additionally have maps and or drawings. The bindings notoriously are fragile and are hard-to-find in great condition. Perhaps less than 100 copies of each were printed and distributed to the author's friends as Christmas keepsakes. Most collectors take years to complete their sets. This copy in fair condition externally with the spine replaced with new paper while the remaining birch bark paper is nice. Internally, spine is cracked but holding tightly. Some lite scattered foxing spots and a couple of pencil marks o/w good with all plates bright. Signed by Abbott on the front free endpaper. Priced accordingly.
