8vo - over 7�" - 9�" A nice association copy, signed and inscribed by author to noted American writer David Shields: '8/18/91 To David, a fine writer & a good pal - all my best wishes, as ever - Fred.' 8vo. - over 7 3/4 in. - 9 3/4 in. 288pp., bound in quarter black cloth over black board with gilt stamped titles on the spine. Shields has given this copy a serious read, it has light reading wear, light splash stains to endpapers, and he has torn out the last blank page, else Good. The dust jacket is Very Good with light creasing, and shelfwear.
