Laid-in is a hand-signed Anthony Burgess cut-signature, housed in an acid-free, archival-safe sleeve with acid-free backing, along with a signature statement from where the signature was obtained. A nice little add-in, should you wish to create your own bookplate, with archival-safe, two-sided tape. Book is fine; bright, tight and clean with four sharp corners. Attractive DJ is nearly as nice as the fine book, except for minor rubbing at crown edge, and minimal faint soiling along upper rear edge of DJ, barely. A most attractive copy of the classic, in a First Modern Library edition, first printing, with an Anthony Burgess signature laid-in, in an archival sleeve. Seller Inventory # 004026
