About this Item

Handsomely bound in finely ribbed blue cloth and stamped right with gilt decorations on the front cover. With a small snag (repaired) underneath Chronicles on the spine lettering. Very clean and tight; rear hinge separated in two places. Laid in is a two-page letter written in ink in the hand and signed by Robert P. Ashe (underscored). First Edition with 1894 old the title page.
