About this Item

Limited edition numbered 241/350 copies, First Edition, 1901. The frontispiece is a Sylvia Mary Allen bookplate signed by designer Jay Chambers. Nine more tipped-in color and B/W bookplates are included within text. Previous owner's name and date are on the front endpaper, a tiny bump to one cover corner, and a small split to the front cover hinge (not affecting the binding integrety). This copy includes the unprinted grey dust jacket with the title handwritten on the spine. Still a very nice copy.
