Tipped-in to the following blank page are two albumen photographs, each approx. 3-inches square, of the author and of his wife, both inscribed with brief sentiment and initials. Leander Hamilton McCormick (1859-1934) was the son of Leander J. McCormick who partnered with his brothers Cyrus and William to form the McCormick Harvesting Machine Company.
