This screenprinted fabric patch/multiple is by Lawrence Weiner, and issued with a hand SIGNED & numbered paper certificate: sheet size: 8-1/4 x 5-3/4in; limited edition to 900 numbered copies; the fabric patch is silkscreened on cotton, printed in 4 colors (orange, gray, black, & blue), patch size: 6 x 5in (136x114mm OR 13.6 x11.4cm.); stamped on verso of the cloth patch is Weiner's initials "LW"; text in English and Japanese: short Synopsis: "Weiner's studio in Amsterdam is a boat house. Text is from the scene he saw several times from his boat. Tension and dynamic movement in the text arouse our imagination. You can enjoy this multiple putting inside your coat or shirts."; Major solo exhibitions of the artist s work have been mounted at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Washington, D.C.
