First edition, inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper, "Sincerely yours, Sylvan Muldoon". Accompanying the book is a signed letter from Muldoon, dated November 1936, apologising for the delay in shipping the book and promising the unnamed "dear friend" aid in seeking "the treasure." The book was published the following month. Muldoon penned six esoteric books, and some of his theories have since found a home in modern Scientology. Octavo. Original blue cloth, spine lettered in gilt. Ownership inscription of one Carrie F. Horne to front pastedown, pencil annotations on rear free endpaper. Spine toned, extremities worn, light damp stains to covers, front inner hinge superficially split, sporadic foxing, otherwise generally clean. A very good copy.
