Inscribed by Sandy inside rear cover: "Please accept this little gift in token of appreciation (or refraining from stomping on the author's ceiling during (nearly) a whole year. SS October 27, 1960." An early chapbook?his first, as far as we can determine?by American poet Stephen Sandy (1934-2016). Laid into this copy is a single sheet offprint from the Autumn 1960 issue of The Massachusetts Review of Sandy's poem "Advice to a Father Feeling His Capital Gains."
