Michael Moorcock's uncommon first book which appearedunder the pseudonym of Desmond Reid as number 501 in the Sexton Blake Library of detective thrillers. Signed copies are scarce. Hubin pg 341, under Desmond Reid, described as publisher's house name. 12mo, 64pp. Vignette illustrations throughout, cover credit as by "Camp." Signed and inscribed by Moorcock to the former owner as "Desmond Reid" and again signed as himself on the title page. Illustrated, stapled wraps in very good condition with wear at spine ends, some staining to rear cover from staples, and typical browning to pulp paper. Seller Inventory # 5281
