A pristine, collector-grade copy in Fine condition: tight, square, and completely unread with a firm, uncreased spine and razor-sharp corners. The glossy black-and-orange covers show deep, rich contrast with zero creasing, fading, chipping, or edge shelfwear (no mylar). Interior pages are clean, bright, white, and completely unmarked throughout, free of former owner signatures, bookplates, or foxing. Compiling dramatic regional accounts, Beyle details major fires, catastrophic coastal shipwrecks along the Atlantic graveyard of the Atlantic, hurricanes, nor'easters, and local mishaps across Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro, Orleans, and Provincetown. Blends historic devastation with Beyle’s trademark dry Yankee humor and authentic Cape Cod scallop dishes.…
