The first page of the book has a personal inscription signed by the author, with a cute drawing of an alpaca/llama (see photo). This page also has a crease. The pages of the book are clean and unmarked. The cover shows some shelf wear. There is a small light stain on the back cover and a dent in the back cover near the spine. There are a few brown dots on the pages at the head of the book. Placitas Community Library is a small rural library located in an unincorporated area. All proceeds help pay for the operating expenses of the library.
